The position of Sales & Logistics Coordinator consists of managing the sales/business development, full logistics, and customer relationships of the company and reporting to the Managing Director
Duties and Responsibilities
? Responsible for initiating sales with prospective or current clients.
? Responsible for price and service negotiation with customers and carriers
? Negotiating sales deals with customers and following up on a regular basis.
? Establish and manage an effective business relationship with customers/associates via innovative strategies to maximize sales.
? Responsible for creating sales goals to aid in achieving targets.
? Co-ordinate with the management for costing targets and negotiate with suppliers.
? Placing purchase orders and ensuring timely materials delivery at the site.
? Uphold rapport with clients and prospects.
? Nurture new sales leads to secure business
? Responsible for offering quotes to current and prospective clients.
? Responsible for supervising shipments until delivery is completed to guarantee smooth operations and customer satisfaction.
? Ensuring that all procured items meet the required quality standards and specifications.
? Arrange to meet shipping deadlines and liaise with shipping agents and port agents on necessary documentation.
? Provides guidance to warehouse and logistics personnel for packing and shipping.
? Verifies accuracy of incoming and outgoing shipments, in accordance with the terms & conditions of the purchase, INCOTERMS, import/export regulations and client specific instructions.
