Job description

1. Organize and maintain the inventory floor area to ensure efficient material storage and handling. Maintain effective labeling systems on the stock items.

2. Maintain physical condition of warehouse by planning and implementing new design layouts

3. Minimize overstocks and removal of obsolete / redundant materials to maximize availability of working capital.

4. Record purchases, maintain database, perform physical count of inventory, and reconcile actual stock count to computer-generated reports.

5. To prepare material requisitions whenever inventory of material goes to reorder level or any damage or shortage of material is noticed

6. Before the arrival of the consignment, it is mandatory to take inventory of materials to be received.

7. Organize proper place in the store/warehouse to keep new consignments well before their arrival

8. Prior to arrival of any stock consignment, it is mandatory to take physical inventory of the goods arriving.

9. Upon the receipt of any new consignment, whole material to be checked against packing list/invoice, for quality as well as quantity of the items and arrange and store at the proper location. Details of all damaged or short received material must be forwarded to the Supervisor. Preparation of any Nonconformance if any found.

10. While opening cartons for taking out material to ensure you don’t damage the packing & let other material fall down from cartons due to mishandling of material.

11. To control inventory levels by conducting physical counts; reconciling with data storage system.

12. To do overall planning for store & warehouse for material transfer from warehouse to store or vice versa.

13. Random inventory check, by product wise must be carried out two times a month subject to the availability of personnel. Any variances must be forwarded to the accounts department through General Manager.

14. To reserve a particular material/stock for a specific job/order when so required.

15. To prepare quarterly slow moving/ non-moving stock report.

16. Overall responsibility and accountability of the warehouse/store at all times. Unauthorized persons should not be allowed to enter the store.

17. Follow all the safety, health & environmental instructions as described by the management.

Requirements:

STOREKEEPER (Preferred : Nepali Nationality)

- High school diploma graduate.

- Effective communication skills.

- Reliable

- Time Management Skills
