3. Responsibilities
• Pre-qualifies subcontracts per Samsung C&T policies
• Issues timely and comprehensive subcontracts on awarded projects to the most competitive and responsive bidders who will perform within time constraints of the project
• Bidder Selection and preparation of a Project Bidders List
• RFP issue to bidders
• Provide bid clarification and expedite bidder proposals
• Receive, open, and distribute proposals
• Perform technical and/or commercial evaluation of bids
• Monitor Subcontract to ensure all requirements have been met
• Close out the Subcontract
• Administers and/or assists with subcontractor’s change orders, back charges
• Perform subcontractor evaluations as required
4. Qualifications
• Four-year college degree or high-school graduator with Minimum 5 years as similar position in the construction industries (experience in oil & gas or power plant construction project is highly preferable)
• Familiar with various construction methods and materials
• Proper computer skills and familiarity with Microsoft office suite of programs.
• English oral & written communication skills are required
• Ability to communicate and build effective relationships with Subcontractors
