Job Title: Project Manager - Construction

Location: Riyadh, Saudi Arabia

Position Overview:

A well known company in KSA, is actively seeking a seasoned Project Manager with 10 years of expertise in civil construction. The ideal candidate will bring a wealth of technical knowledge, exceptional leadership skills, and a proven track record of successfully delivering civil construction projects.

Responsibilities:

Project Leadership:

• Provide strategic direction for civil construction projects from initiation to completion.

• Oversee project planning, scheduling, and execution to ensure timely and within-budget delivery.

• Lead and motivate project teams to achieve project goals.

Client Collaboration:

• Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, understanding their requirements and ensuring client satisfaction.

• Establish and maintain strong client relationships throughout the project lifecycle.

Budget and Cost Control:

• Develop and manage project budgets with a focus on cost-effectiveness.

• Implement robust cost control measures and monitor financial aspects of projects.

Technical Expertise:

• Demonstrate a deep understanding of civil construction processes, materials, and techniques.

• Apply knowledge of structural engineering, geotechnical considerations, and other relevant technical aspects.

• Stay abreast of industry advancements and integrate innovative solutions into projects.

Team Management:

• Build and lead a high-performing civil construction team.

• Foster a collaborative and positive work environment.

• Provide guidance and mentorship to team members.

Risk Management:

• Identify potential risks in civil construction projects and develop effective mitigation strategies.

• Implement proactive risk management practices throughout the project lifecycle.

Quality Assurance:

• Enforce stringent quality control procedures to maintain high standards in civil construction projects.

• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance project quality.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or Construction Management.

• A minimum of 10-15 years of demonstrated experience in civil construction project management, showcasing a successful track record in the timely and cost-effective delivery of large-scale projects.

• In-depth technical expertise in structural engineering, geotechnical considerations, construction materials, and other pertinent aspects of civil construction.

• Proven strong leadership skills with the ability to provide strategic direction, mentor teams, and drive project success.

• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to effectively engage with clients, team members, and stakeholders.

• Demonstrated ability to manage complex budgets and financial aspects of civil construction projects, ensuring fiscal responsibility and project profitability.

• Technical proficiency in utilizing project management software to facilitate efficient planning, execution, and monitoring of projects.

• Highly desirable to possess professional certifications/licenses such as PMP (Project Management Professional) or PE (Professional Engineer), demonstrating commitment to industry standards and best practices.

• Proven experience in successful collaboration with multidisciplinary teams and stakeholders, fostering a cooperative and integrated project environment.
