Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field
Proven (7 Years) experience as a Planning Engineer in the construction industry
Proficient in project management software and tools such as Primavera P6 and Microsoft Project
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively
Knowledge of construction processes, methods, and regulations
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Strong attention to detail and accuracy in project documentation
Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment
Responsibilities:
Develop and implement comprehensive project plans, incorporating all key stages and activities
Analyze project requirements and constraints to determine critical path activities and potential risks
Collaborate with project managers and cross-functional teams to define project objectives, scope, and deliverables
Monitor project progress and ensure adherence to the project timeline, identifying and addressing any delays or issues
Conduct regular site visits to assess project progress, quality, and compliance with safety regulations
Prepare and maintain project documentation, including detailed project schedules, progress reports, and change orders
Provide regular updates to the project team and management, including progress updates, potential risks, and mitigation strategies
