Urgently looking for a Procurement Officer with vast experience
Responsibilities:
• Dealing with external suppliers
• Dealing with shipping companies and services
• Responsible for ordering the goods and following up the arrival at the company’s warehouse
• Good knowledge of methods of ordering and purchasing goods through:
1. Bank credits / filling out the bank credit form
2. Cash/transfer in advance
3. On account.
• Follow up the purchase of goods and enter them into the system
• Good knowledge of the Ms. office
• Good knowledge of writing reports, e-mails, and drafting letters
• Preparing and arranging files
• Coordination with different departments
• Reporting to management and performing secretarial duties.
• Processing, typing, editing, and formatting reports and documents.
• Filing documents, as well as entering data and maintaining databases.
• Liaising with internal departments and communicating with the public.
• Directing internal and external calls, emails, and faxes to designated departments.
• Arranging and scheduling appointments, meetings, and events.
• Monitoring office supplies and ordering replacements.
• Assisting with copying, scanning, faxing, emailing, note-taking, and travel bookings.
• Preparing facilities and arranging refreshments for events, if required.
• Observing the best business practices and etiquette.
Requirements:
• Bachelor of Commerce/Economic degree.
• 2+ years of experience as a procurement officer or in a similar position.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and purchasing software.
• Strong communication and negotiation skills.
• Good analytical and strategic thinking skills.
• Supervisory and management experience.
• Attention to detail.
Microsoft Office use, Word, Excel, PowerPoint. etc.
