Job Title: Warehouse In-Charge

Location: Jeddah, Saudi Arabia

Employment Type: Full-Time

Salary: 2000 to 3500 SAR

Job Summary:

The Warehouse In-Charge is responsible for overseeing all warehouse operations, ensuring efficient storage, handling, and distribution of goods. This role involves managing warehouse staff, maintaining inventory accuracy, and ensuring that safety and quality standards are met. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in warehouse management, strong leadership skills, and a keen attention to detail.

Key Responsibilities:

Warehouse Operations Management:

Oversee daily warehouse operations, including receiving, storage, and distribution of goods.

Ensure optimal organization of the warehouse layout for efficient space utilization and easy access to products.

Monitor and manage inventory levels to prevent stockouts and overstock situations.

Staff Management:

Supervise and train warehouse staff, including assigning tasks and monitoring performance.

Develop and implement staff schedules to ensure adequate coverage for all warehouse activities.

Foster a positive and productive work environment, addressing any issues or conflicts that arise.

Inventory Control:

Conduct regular inventory audits and reconciliations to ensure accuracy.

Implement and maintain inventory management systems to track and record stock movements.

Investigate and resolve discrepancies between physical and system inventory.

Safety and Compliance:

Ensure all warehouse activities comply with health and safety regulations and company policies.

Conduct regular safety inspections and training sessions to maintain a safe working environment.

Implement procedures for handling hazardous materials and emergency situations.

Quality Assurance:

Ensure that all products received and dispatched meet quality standards.

Implement quality control processes to minimize errors and defects.

Work closely with other departments to address any quality-related issues.

Logistics Coordination:

Coordinate with logistics and transportation teams to ensure timely and accurate delivery of goods.

Manage relationships with carriers and service providers to ensure reliable service.

Optimize transportation routes and methods to reduce costs and improve efficiency.

Reporting and Documentation:

Maintain accurate records of warehouse activities, including inventory levels, inbound and outbound shipments, and staff performance.

Prepare regular reports on warehouse performance and key metrics for management review.

Ensure all documentation is complete, accurate, and filed appropriately.

Required Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.

Proven experience as a Warehouse In-Charge or in a similar role within a warehouse or logistics environment.

Strong leadership and team management skills.

Proficiency in warehouse management software and Microsoft Office Suite.

Excellent organizational and time-management abilities.

Attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

Professional certification in logistics or warehouse management (e.g., Certified Warehouse Logistics Professional (CWLP)).

Experience with ERP systems and other supply chain management tools.

Familiarity with lean warehousing and continuous improvement methodologies.
