Job description

We are looking for a QA/QC Engineer who is a member of the supervision team to manage our technical inspection service in our projects as a senior inspection engineer. You will be conducting land surveys, allocating resources, supervising multidisciplinary construction teams, and inspecting completed construction projects.

You should possess extensive experience in managing large construction projects and the ability to ensure adherence to construction specifications and standards. An outstanding senior civil engineer will be someone whose expertise results in construction projects that are completed with high quality and conformance to the Saudi Building Code.

Roles and Responsibilities:

Conduct periodic quality assurance/quality control inspections on the contractors on site and check compliance with the client's and the organization's quality policies, procedures, and standards.

Identify quality non-conformance issues, summarize findings in periodic quality audit reports, and recommend corrective action plans.

Ensure that all QA/QC documents are filed in an organized manner.

Support the team during the handover and defects liability period, as needed.

Implement corporate policies and procedures.

Communicate QA/QC procedures and documentation to the contractors on site and ensure all relevant individuals are aware of the procedures that affect their work.

Review the contractor's QA/QC Plan and agree on any revisions with the contractor before the commencement of the works.

Oversee and manage the overall project from initiation to completion.

Coordinate and communicate with all stakeholders involved in the project.

Monitor project progress, identify risks or issues, and implement the inspection plan.

Provide leadership and guidance to the project team and ensure effective collaboration.

Manage project documentation, including drawings, inspection reports, and technical reservation closing documents.

Conduct regular project meetings and provide status updates to the department manager.

Ensure compliance with relevant regulations, codes, and standards.

Facilitate effective communication and resolution of any conflicts or disputes that may arise during the project.

Ensuring compliance with the specified scope and quality standards.

Qualifications and Skills:

Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering.

Saudi Driving license.

10+ years of experience in a QA/QC Civil function in a contracting company or a construction supervision function

Experience with Civil QA / QC activities and inspections on contractors on supervision sites.

General knowledge of Quality Control, QMS Audit, Document Management & full command of ISO 9001:2015.

Having the competency certification (e.g., Lead Auditor ISO 9001, ASQ Certified Quality Auditor, Certified Welding Inspector)

Evidence of Continued Professional Development (CPD)

working experience in GCC Countries.
