Position Summary QA/QC Supervisor is responsible to advocate and ensure compliance to Quality
Assurance and Control standards within our company. Has solid leadership experience
in enforcement of QA/QC methodologies and frameworks in similar technology
services environment. Responsible to lead QA/QC operations within our company to
ensure that delivered services meet the highest quality standards.
The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of managing QA/QC processes in
complex software environments and will be adept at identifying and mitigating quality
issues, optimizing processes, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
Roles &
Responsibilities
? Develop and ensure implementation of QA/QC processes and procedures for
project delivery in alignment with International ISO Standards and best practices.
? Advocate a culture of Quality Assurance. Foster a culture of continuous learning
and improvement.
? Oversee daily QA/QC operations collaboratively with execution teams to ensure
adherence to software development standards including functional, performance,
and maintainability requirements.
? Support functional and non-functional testing, making go/no-go decisions for the
next project phase based on test results. Emphasize enforcement of conformance to
project scope such as specifications for information security, infrastructure,
software requirements, etc.
? Analyze QA/QC KPIs to identify trends and areas for improvement, and direct gap
closure measures.
? Proactively introduce initiatives to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of
QA/QC activities.
? Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including project managers, developers,
and functional experts to ensure alignment with scope requirements. Work jointly
with the Techno-Functional Managers on technical integration architecture.
? Timely communicate quality-related issues, risks, and recommendations to
stakeholders.
? Ensure maintaining detailed documentation of QA/QC activities, including test
plans, test cases, test results, and quality metrics as part of project sign-offs.
? Avail training and development opportunities for our company staff to enhance
their QA/QC skills and knowledge.
? Supervise preparation and approval of Prepare Project Quality Plans (PQP) for
project proposals and project execution.
Qualifications &
Requirements
? Academic: BSc in relevant Engineering field, preferably in Industrial & Systems
Engineering, Software Engineering, or Computer Science
? Certifications: Holds 3+ relevant certifications (e.g., ISTQB, KSATQB, CSTE,
ISO, etc.)
? Experience: 10 Years+ relevant and proven experience handling similar
responsibilities within Digitalization environment. Moved through QA/QC to lead
role. Has worked before for (not necessarily with) key client(s) such as Aramco,
SABIC, etc. Understands contractual quality procedures (e.g. Schedule Q). Has
been approved as contractor QA/QC manager before.
? Software Quality Standards: Knowledge of common standards in software
development such as ISO/IEC 12207 and ISO/IEC 15288
? Software Project Management: Understands software development life cycle
(SDLC) and interrelated QA/QC activities.
? Quality Tools & Principles: Proficient in QA/QC tools and software, such as
JIRA, Selenium, MiniTab, or similar. Knowledge of key Total Quality
Management (TQM) principles such as lean six sigma, Kaizen, DMAIC, PDCA,
RCA, etc.
? Cybersecurity: Understand cybersecurity mitigation principles and their relevance
to QC cycle during digitalization project execution.
? Analytical Skills: Analytical, problem-solving, and attention-to-detail. Ability to
work independently and under pressure.
? Communication Skills: Strong interpersonal communications. Ability to
communicate effectively. Ability to work with teams.
? Leadership Skills: Ability to direct staff to develop reports/presentations for
different stakeholders. Ability to negotiate with stakeholders.
Preferences ? Project management certifications (PMP or similar).
? Previous experience on the execution side prior to switching to QA/QC.
