Duties and Responsibilities:
Project management - planning out the size, scope, and resources necessary to complete a project
Design or study mechanical modification to petrochemical processing and utilities facilities.
Execute capital projects according to the work scope, schedule, and budget.
Responsible for project development and completion: Preliminary engineering to detail designs to construction and the final and safe turnover to proponent.
Design development of project proposal, include definition of project work scope and schedule requirements. Development of detailed estimate leading to funding appropriation and approval.
Participate in HAZOP Studies, FEED review and Detailed Engineering.
Manage contractor preparation of detailed design drawings, material specifications and procurement, and/or construction bid packages.
Provide input to develop and prepare contracting plan, evaluation, and award of contract for detail engineering, procurement, and construction.
Lead multiple concurrent projects, each potentially with one or more support engineers
Analyze schedules and budgets.
Review and approve project work using internal standards, industry practices, and personal experience to ensure a safe design
Develop and apply piping material classes based on product and project requirements
Specify insulation, paint, and protective coatings on Piping & Instrumentation Diagrams (P&ID)
