Project Manager is responsible for planning, coordinating and overseeing projects within the mechanical engineering department. This role requires strong leadership, communication and technical skills to ensure projects are completed on time, within budget and to the required quality standards.
Develop comprehensive project plans, including timelines, budgets, resources, and risk management strategies.
Define project scope, objectives, and deliverables in collaboration with stakeholders.
Monitor project progress and make adjustments as necessary to ensure successful completion.
Lead a team of engineers, technicians, and other project members.
Assign tasks, provide guidance, and monitor performance to ensure team members meet their objectives.
Manage project budgets, track expenditures, and ensure cost-effective use of resources.
Coordinate with procurement to acquire necessary materials and equipment.
Ensure optimal utilization of human and material resources.
Ensure all project activities comply with industry standards, regulations, and company policies.
Conduct regular quality checks and audits to ensure high standards of workmanship.
Serve as the primary point of contact for stakeholders, providing regular updates on project status, issues, and changes.
Prepare and present detailed project reports to senior management and other stakeholders.
Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies.
Implement contingency plans to address unforeseen issues.
Maintain comprehensive project documentation, including contracts, plans, reports, and correspondence.
Ensure compliance with all legal, safety, and regulatory requirements.
Qualification: BE - Mechanical
Work Experience: 10 - 15 Years (Aramco Experience is a Must)
Industry Peference: Must have worked in large Oil & Gas EPC Companies
Skills:
Must have worked in ERP Environment & well versed with MS Office Skills (Excel, Word, Outlook & PowerPoint).
Strong Analytical Skills
Strong technical knowledge of mechanical engineering principles and practices.
Excellent leadership, organizational, and multitasking skills.
Proficiency in project management software (e.g., MS Project, Primavera).
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
