**Job Description:**
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Qualified Design Mechanical Engineer to join our team for our prestigious Port project in Neom city, Saudi Arabia.
The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the design and development of the mechanical systems and infrastructure for this critical project.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Oversee the design, planning, and implementation of mechanical systems, including HVAC, plumbing, and other essential components.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the mechanical design aligns with the overall project requirements and specifications.
- Conduct feasibility studies, cost analysis, and risk assessments to optimize the mechanical design.
- Develop detailed engineering drawings, specifications, and technical documentation.
- Ensure compliance with relevant building codes, safety standards, and environmental regulations.
- Provide technical guidance and support to the construction team during the implementation phase.
- Monitor project progress and address any design-related issues or challenges that arise.
**Qualifications and Experience:**
- Minimum of 10 years of work experience in Saudi Arabia as a Qualified Design Mechanical Engineer.
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
- Strong understanding of mechanical design principles, methodologies, and industry best practices.
- Proficient in the use of CAD software and engineering design tools.
- Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and decision-making skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a cross-functional team environment.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills in English.
- Familiarity with local building codes and regulations in Saudi Arabia.
