Job description

QA/QC Engineer is responsible for analyzing and qualifying an organization’s product to make sure it meets quality and manufacturing standards. Closely work with other engineering teams to identify potential errors in the process or standard and design improvements that could create a more efficient and effective production line. Ensures method statement, work procedures, checklists, Inspection & test plan, Project quality plan as per the project demand.

Rolls and Responsibilities:

1 Accountable for the quality and quality of every activity, precise knowledge of all aspects of engineering construction relating to Civil, Architectural, and Structural discipline interfacing the multidisciplinary processes.

2 Responsible for QA/QC documents of the complete project, including certificates, calibration, test results, inspection requests, non-compliance reports and site instruction/observations, permanent materials delivered, and other important QA/QC documents.

3 Develop and determine all standards to perform inspections and tests on all procedures, oversee all testing methods, and maintain high-quality standards for all processes.

4 Review the quality of all materials at the site, ensure compliance with all project specifications and quality, and collaborate with the department for all material procurement and quality materials.

5 Supervise the effective implementation of all test and inspection schedules, ensure adherence to all procedures, and coordinate with various teams to perform quality audits on processes.

6 Assist with employees to ensure knowledge of all quality standards, ensure compliance to all quality manuals and procedures, and collaborate with contractors and suppliers to maintain the quality of all systems.

7 Manage to lift all types of equipment, handle the efficient storage of all hazardous materials, and perform quality audits per the required schedule.

8 Monitor an efficient system, record all project activities, and analyze all processes to ensure all work meets quality requirements.

9 Manage all work methods, maintain knowledge on quality assurance standards, monitor continuous application for all quality assurance processes, and recommend corrective actions for all operations.

10 Develop a method statement for the activity including risk assessment and job safety environmental analysis and Inspection Test Plan and Checklist based on specifications of the project.

11 Liaise the Technical Engineer for submission of material submittals to Consultant

12 Coordinate with the Consultant’s representative and Site In-charge for Inspection.

14 Assist with employees to ensure knowledge of all quality standards and ensure compliance to all quality manual and procedures and collaborate with contractors and suppliers to maintain quality of all systems

15 Analyze all products and non conformance processes and evaluate all documents to ensure maintenance of optimal quality and prepare monthly reports to evaluate performance.

16 Periodic Site inspection based on the Inspection request, site Surveillance and proactive activate at the Site.

17 Monitor an efficient system and record for all project activities and analyze all processes to ensure all work according to quality requirements.

18 Manage all work methods and maintain knowledge on all quality assurance standards and monitor continuous application for all quality assurance processes and recommend corrective actions for all processes

19 The preparation and control of project quality system management documentation prior to project commencement.

20 Review quality inspection personnel qualifications and training requirements

21 Monitor the disposition of all issued nonconformance reports.

22 Monitor the progress and effectiveness of the project quality management system. Recommend and implement improvements when required.

23 Generate Non-conformance reports to activities not conforming to project specifications and monitor detailed action plans for closeout.

24 Nominates his /her deputy during their absence to handle the duties

25 Be available to undertake off-site inspections of proposed equipment and materials as may be deemed necessary by the Project Manager.
