Roles & Responsibilities:
- Design and plan water distribution systems, considering efficiency, safety, and environmental impact.
- Conduct feasibility studies, site assessments, and hydraulic modeling to optimize water installation designs.
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including civil engineers, architects, and project managers, to integrate water installation plans into overall project designs.
- Prepare detailed technical drawings, specifications, and cost estimates for water installation projects.
- Coordinate with regulatory authorities to ensure compliance with relevant codes, standards, and regulations.
- Oversee the installation, testing, and commissioning of water distribution systems, troubleshooting any issues that arise.
- Monitor and evaluate the performance of water installation systems, recommending improvements and maintenance strategies as needed.
- Stay current with industry trends, technological advancements, and best practices in water installation engineering.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering* or a related field.
- Minimum of 4 years of experience* in designing and implementing water distribution systems.
- Proficiency in computer-aided design (CAD) software and hydraulic modeling tools.
- Strong understanding of fluid dynamics, thermodynamics, and water treatment processes.
- Knowledge of relevant codes, regulations, and standards related to water installation.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, for effective collaboration and documentation.
- Problem-solving mindset with the ability to analyze complex issues and propose practical solutions.
- Project management skills to coordinate and oversee water installation projects.
- Professional Engineer (PE) license is a plus.
