Job Responsibilities of a Civil Engineer:
Project Planning and Coordination:
• Plan, coordinate, and supervise construction activities on the site.
• Ensure that the project is completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
Technical Guidance:
• Provide technical advice and solve problems on-site.
• Interpret drawings, specifications, and plans to ensure construction activities align with project requirements.
Quality Control:
• Monitor and inspect work to ensure compliance with safety regulations, standards, and specifications.
• Conducted quality assurance checks and resolved any issues that arose during construction.
Resource Management:
• Manage resources such as labor, materials, and equipment efficiently.
• Coordinate with suppliers and subcontractors to ensure timely delivery of materials and services.
Documentation and Reporting:
• Maintain accurate records of daily site activities, including work progress, materials used, and any issues encountered.
• Prepare regular progress reports and update stakeholders on the status of the project.
Health and Safety Compliance:
• Ensure that all health and safety regulations are followed on-site.
• Conduct safety briefings and inspections to minimize accidents and ensure a safe working environment.
Client Liaison:
• Act as the main point of contact between the client, contractors, and other stakeholders.
• Address any concerns or changes requested by the client and communicate them effectively to the team.
Problem-Solving:
• Identify and resolve any technical or logistical issues that arise during construction.
• Implement solutions quickly to minimize delays and maintain project momentum.
Budget Management:
• Monitor project expenditures and ensure the project stays within the allocated budget.
• Approve and track payments to subcontractors and suppliers.
Environmental Considerations:
Ensure that construction activities comply with environmental regulations and best practices.
Implement sustainable practices wherever possible to minimize the environmental impact of the project.
Requirements:
• 10 years experience in Civil
