We are currently looking for a Safety Officer (Saudi ARAMCO Certified - Valid) to join our team. In this critical role, The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of safety protocols, risk assessment, and emergency response procedures.
Responsibilities
• Develop Job Safety Analysis (JSA)
• Site Advisor / Supervisor
• Inspect Safety at work area and ensure safety protocols are always followed at construction sites to prevent accidents, injuries or near-misses.
• Develop and implement safety policies and procedures on construction sites
• Conduct risk assessments to identify potential hazards and develop strategies and implement preventive and corrective measures
• Conduct safety training sessions for construction staff and workers
• Conduct safety drills to assess the readiness of the construction team in case of an emergency or disasters.
• Investigate any incidents, accidents and near-misses to determine the root causes and develop and implement corrective actions to prevent re-occurrence.
• Develop and implement safety emergency response plans and procedures to handle any potential incidents, emergencies or disasters.
• Prepare and present safety reports to management
Desired Candidate Profile
• Valid Saudi Aramco HSE Certification.
• OSHA 30Hrs. Construction
• Proven experience as a Safety Engineer or similar role within oil and gas or construction industries..
• Thorough knowledge of Saudi Aramco HSE regulations and industry practices.
• In-depth knowledge of potentially hazardous materials or practices.
• Deep understanding of construction processes, safety regulations, and risk management.
• Very good English communication skills
