Job description

We are seeking a skilled MEP Maintenance Engineer to oversee and perform maintenance of commercial and industrial electrical systems, plumbing, industrial machine installation, CCTV, and other critical building systems. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in maintenance engineering, team management, and project coordination, ensuring that all systems operate efficiently and comply with industry standards. Key Responsibilities:

Conduct regular maintenance of commercial and industrial electrical systems, plumbing, and industrial machines.

Perform site visits and surveys to assess project requirements and prepare detailed BOQs (Bills of Quantities) and cost estimations.

Develop engineering drawings and secure necessary approvals from clients and consultants.

Manage and coordinate the maintenance team to ensure timely completion of maintenance tasks.

Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to equipment, CCTV, and building systems to minimize downtime.

Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance on all critical systems.

Ensure all maintenance activities adhere to safety protocols and regulatory standards.

Coordinate with internal teams to schedule maintenance and respond promptly to emergencies.

Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities and ensure proper documentation.

Identify opportunities for energy efficiency and cost-saving measures.

Collaborate with contractors and service providers to ensure optimal system performance.

Requirements:

Engineer with valid certification.

Proven experience in facility or infrastructure maintenance, including managing a maintenance team, site surveying, BOQ preparation, and estimation.

Strong technical knowledge of commercial and industrial electrical systems, plumbing, industrial machines, and CCTV.

Experience in preparing engineering drawings and obtaining approvals from clients and consultants.

Transferable visa with NOC is required.

Proficiency in both English and Arabic.

Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.

Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.

Preferred:

Previous experience in project management or leading a maintenance team.

Familiarity with regulatory requirements and safety standards in industrial environments.
