For our Tekla Sales Engineer role, we are seeking a structural or civil engineering professional who is a confident user of BIM software, ideally products from our Tekla brand. As one of our Sales Engineers, you will work with existing and potential clients where you will showcase, demonstrate/create case studies of how products from our Tekla range can improve their projects through increased efficiencies and reduced costs. Alongside these dynamic product demonstrations, you will work commercially to understand potential clients budgets, cost constraints and work proactively with them to share how Tekla products will improve their business. Once a client has agreed to use our products you will ensure seamless product installation and maintenance by working with the client and internal teams to deliver the expected smooth onboarding and usage of our software. To be successful in this role you will have a background in structural/civil engineering and a desire to move into construction software sales or commercial teams. You do not need to be an expert in Tekla products as we can and will develop you, but you MUST have working knowledge of BIM software and be a confident and articulate communicator who can take complex structural and software information and scale it to your audience. Working in a team of nine colleagues across Saudi Arabia and the UAE, you will work closely within your team but also teams across Europe. We will ensure you have the very best product training on our Tekla software so that you grow into a passionate and knowledgeable advocate for our Tekla portfolio which includes , Tekla PowerFab, Tekla Structures - Steel / Concrete / Precast , Structural Designer, Tedds and Trimble Connect products. Our customers use our software to detail everything from commercial projects to the iconic structures all across the Emirates and wider Middle East as well as national and international infrastructure projects. Ideally you will have written and spoken Arabic language skills as well as written and spoken business English language skills. What you will do: - Ensure flawless product application and lead ongoing technical support to both our sales staff and customers - Provide both pre and post-sales technical brilliance - Guide product development by serving as the internal technical liaison between - - Sales and Product Management to ensure that the product management team has input from both sales and customers - Support the customer success effort as required to help drive adoption within our existing customer base - Ensure that new customers achieve quick time to value as you provide them with a high level of customer service What skills & experience you should bring: - High proficiency in Structure BIM software, ideally Tekla products or similar. - Have a degree in Civil/Structural Engineering or equivalent - Strong problem solving and communication skills - Excellent written and verbal communication skills - Experience with software implementation consulting or software support - Ability to deal with undefined situations and business process challenges - Ability to clearly document product functionality requirements and desired workflow outcomes - Active listener who transmits information accurately and understandably and - actively seeks feedback - Arabic written and spoken language skills would be an advantage but not essential What we will offer you: - Competitive salary - Commission inline with sales targets - Annual Leave - 30 Days Holiday - Additional Trimble "Day of Service" - additional annual leave day in addition to the above - Housing allowance - Transportation allowance - Education allowance for dependents (max 2 dependents) - Annual Flight home for you and dependents - Employee Stock Purchase Plan (ESPP) About Trimble Tekla: Trimble is transforming the way the world works by delivering products and services that connect the physical and digital worlds.
