Job description

We are looking for a skilled and experienced Fit-Out Engineer with expertise in both MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing) systems and interior fit-out projects. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of delivering high-quality fit-out projects on time and within budget while ensuring compliance with engineering standards and client specifications.

Key Responsibilities:

Project Planning & Design Coordination: Collaborate with design teams to review architectural and MEP plans, ensuring project specifications are feasible and align with client expectations.

MEP Supervision: Oversee the installation, testing, and commissioning of all MEP systems within fit-out projects, ensuring proper integration with interior elements.

Site Management: Manage daily on-site activities for MEP and fit-out work, coordinating with contractors, vendors, and site teams to maintain high standards of workmanship.

Quality Control & Compliance: Conduct regular inspections to ensure MEP and fit-out work complies with relevant codes, safety standards, and client specifications.

Budget & Cost Management: Monitor project budgets, manage costs, and control any variations while ensuring project timelines are adhered to.

Technical Support: Provide technical guidance on MEP and fit-out aspects, troubleshooting issues, and implementing solutions to optimize project outcomes.

Client & Stakeholder Communication: Serve as the primary contact for clients and stakeholders, updating them on progress, addressing queries, and managing expectations effectively.

Documentation & Reporting: Maintain accurate project documentation, including plans, inspections, and progress reports, and submit regular updates to project management teams.

Requirements:

Experience: Minimum 4-6 years of hands-on experience in MEP and fit-out projects.

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.

Skills:

Strong knowledge of MEP systems, interior fit-out processes, and construction methodologies.

Proficiency in project management software and tools (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit, MS Project).

Exceptional organizational, problem-solving, and leadership skills.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for client and team interactions.

Knowledge: Thorough understanding of local building codes, safety regulations, and industry standards for MEP and fit-out projects.
