qualification:
• bachelor’s degree/diploma in engineering, environmental science, or a related field.
• minimum 6+ years of gulf experience.
• certification in health, safety, and environment (e.g., nebosh, iosh, osha) is highly preferred.
• proven experience in an hse role, particularly in [industry or sector, e.g., construction, oil & gas, etc.].
• strong knowledge of hse regulations, standards, and best practices.
• excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
key responsibilities:
• develop, implement, and monitor hse policies, procedures, and management systems.
• conduct risk assessments, safety inspections, and audits to identify and mitigate hazards.
• ensure compliance with all relevant health, safety, and environmental laws and regulations.
• investigate accidents, near-misses, and unsafe conditions to determine root causes and recommend solutions.
• prepare and maintain documentation, including reports and records, related to hse activities.
• provide hse training and awareness sessions to employees and contractors.
• collaborate with project teams to integrate hse requirements into project planning and execution.
