ELV Engineer
Key Responsibilities:
•Review detailed design drawings provided by vendors and suppliers.
•Coordinate and resolve discrepancies between the current design and the supplier’s detailed design.
•Address conflicts between ELV design and other disciplines.
•Resolve issues between design plans and on-site construction requirements.
•Perform quantity surveying and material estimation for ELV equipment and systems.
•Oversee the acceptance and inspection of ELV products upon delivery.
•Prepare construction plans and documentation for ELV systems.
•Develop and review ELV system testing and commissioning plans, as well as inspection records.
•Manage on-site ELV system installation, ensuring quality of subcontractor work and documenting results.
•Oversee the handover of completed ELV systems to the client, including system training.
•Organize and collect project documentation for the construction process, ensuring smooth future handover.
Qualifications:
•Familiarity with the working principles of automation control systems.
•Strong understanding of PLCs, RTUs, and other controllers, including their components and operating methods.
•Knowledge of industrial communication protocols such as RS485/232/422, Modbus, IEC 61850, BACnet, and their basic working principles.
•Proficiency in various instrument communication and control technologies.
•Understanding of the basic architecture and working principles of systems like BMS, BAS, DCS, and SCADA.
•Proficient in AutoCAD, Revit, Visio, or other relevant software.
•At least 5 years of experience in automation projects.
Additional Skills (Preferred):
•Knowledge of Fire Alarm systems, including components, working principles, and construction methods.
•Familiarity with computer communication networks, including their composition, operating principles, and troubleshooting methods.
•Understanding of CCTV systems, including components, working principles, and commissioning procedures.
