Position Responsibilities 1?Logistics Planning: Plan and manage logistics and transportation fleet and drivers, develop and implement transportation strategies to reduce costs, increase efficiency and meet project deadlines. Optimize transportation routing and scheduling to ensure the most efficient use of company resources. 2?Supervision and Management: Oversee fleet management, including maintenance schedules, fuel management, and driver assignments; evaluate and recommend new technologies or route distribution solutions that can improve the transportation process. Monitor costs and service quality to achieve cost reductions and efficiencies. 3?Compliance & Safety: Ensure that all logistics transportation complies with local regulations, conduct regular safety audits of the transportation fleet, and identify areas for improvement. 4?Vendor Collaboration Management: Establish and maintain relationships with third party transportation service providers and contractors. Negotiate transportation contracts and manage vendor performance. 5?Other ad hoc situation resolution and review. Position Requirements 1?Educational Background: Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Transportation Engineering, Logistics Management and other related fields?Fluent in English and Arabic and able to be online 24 hours a day. 2?Work Experience?5+ years of transportation management experience in a fleet of large trucks, tractors, vans, etc., preferably in the logistics industry 3, Skills and abilities: proficient in transportation systems, logistics and fleet management principles. Proficient in engineering principles applicable to transportation (vehicle load capacity, material handling). 4?Experience using transportation management software and GPS tracking systems. Strong leadership and team management skills. 5?Excellent problem solving skills, especially in applying engineering solutions to logistics challenges.Knowledge of local transportation regulations.Excellent negotiation skills.
