Mechanical Supervisor
Job Description:
We are looking for a hardworking Mechanical Supervisor to assist our staff with basic Mechanical Services installations and repairs. Performing tasks as directed by the Site Engineer to include assisting in working on air conditioning systems, Plumbing Systems & Fire Protection systems. This will include assisting with installations, inspections, diagnosing problems/faults/leaks, testing, repair and maintenance of all mechanical building system.
To ensure success as a mechanical Supervisor, you should have excellent physical fitness, a strong desire to learn, and detailed knowledge of building mechanical systems.
Mechanical Supervisor Responsibilities:
• General assistance to the Site Engineer for all types of all mechanical work in commercial and industrial buildings which will include assisting with installations, inspections, diagnosing problems/faults/leaks, testing, repair and maintenance of mechanical systems equipment.
• Can read and interpret shop drawings and execute them as required with coordination with site engineer.
• Assisting in general work and preparation as directed.
• As directed by the Site Engineer to assist with storage, lifting, fetching supplies, unload and check deliveries.
• Undertaking tasks to assisting the site engineer generally.
• Liaising with Line Manager and other site workers and performing jobs as and when they are required in accordance with contract/agreed requirements and within agreed time limits.
• Meet your targets and contribute to those of the team as a whole.
• Adhere to all organization policies and procedures, including those relating to hygiene, respect for other team members, time keeping and flexibility.
Mechanical Supervisor Requirements:
• Technical Collage or polytechnic 2 years program graduate.
• 5 years of proven work experience as a Building Mechanical systems Supervisor.
• Implementing and abiding by occupational safety rules for site as required by HSE requirements.
• Detailed knowledge of Building Mechanical Systems (HVAC, Plumbing, Firefighting …etc.)
• Good personality, and good communications skill (with Staff & Management)
• Good physical fitness.
• Good listening and communication skills.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Languages: - Urdu, Hindi & English
• Transferrable iqama is a must
