QHSE Manager for Transport Logistics [ Saudi Nationality]

We are a leading transport logistics company with a fleet of 300+ trucks We are seeking a highly experienced QHSE Manager to lead and strengthen our Quality, Health, Safety, and Environment practices.

Roles and Responsibilities

As a QHSE Manager, you will be responsible for:

1. Developing and Implementing Policies:

Establish, update, and enforce QHSE policies and procedures to ensure compliance with legal and international standards.

Promote a strong QHSE culture across all departments.

2. Compliance and Risk Management:

Ensure operations comply with local regulations (e.g., Saudi Arabian safety laws) and global standards (e.g., ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001).

Conduct risk assessments, audits, and inspections to identify and mitigate risks.

3. Training and Awareness:

Organize training programs for drivers, supervisors, and employees on QHSE best practices.

Promote awareness of safety, health, and environmental responsibilities across the organization.

4. Incident and Violation Management:

Investigate all incidents, accidents, and near-misses to identify root causes and recommend preventive measures.

Monitor driver compliance with safety protocols and address violations systematically.

5. Client and Stakeholder Management:

Collaborate with clients to understand their safety and quality requirements.

Address and resolve client complaints related to QHSE issues.

6. Cross-Functional Coordination:

Work closely with Operations, Fleet Management, HR, and Maintenance teams to integrate QHSE objectives into daily activities.

Ensure vehicles and equipment meet safety standards through regular inspections and maintenance schedules.

7. Continuous Improvement:

Analyze safety trends, violations, and client feedback to implement continuous improvement strategies.

Lead QHSE projects to enhance operational safety and efficiency.

8. Reporting and Documentation:

Prepare regular QHSE performance reports for management, highlighting key metrics and improvement areas.

Maintain comprehensive records of audits, training, incidents, and corrective actions.

Qualifications and Experience

Education:

Bachelor’s degree in Safety Management, Engineering, Environmental Science, or a related field with nebosh igc or diploma,

A relevant certification such as NEBOSH, IOSH, or ISO Lead Auditor (9001, 14001, 45001) is mandatory.

Experience:

At least 7–10 years of experience in QHSE management, preferably in transport and logistics.

Proven track record in implementing safety and quality standards in large-scale operations.

Skills:

Strong knowledge of transport safety regulations and fleet management best practices.

Excellent leadership and team management skills.

Proficiency in incident investigation, root cause analysis, and corrective action planning.

Strong communication skills to liaise with clients, management, and staff effectively.
