WHAT WILL YOU BE DOING?
• You work at one of our job sites. You manage and lead a team of mechanics and electricians, Welders, allocating and distributing work throughout the team.
• You coordinate and schedule the maintenance and repair of our fleet and prioritize the workload.
• You keep up to date records on equipment including check lists, defect notes, job service reports and other related documentation.
• You handle administration, order (spare) parts, handle stock for emergency and service parts;
• You ensure health and safety measures are adhered to and tasks are carried out safely.
• You assist and guide the team in case the problem is complex.
• You will be given the authority to initiate new incentives or improvements to streamline work.
WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?
• You have a degree in Mechanical/Automotive/Machine Engineering or equivalent by experience.
• You have solid experience in a similar environment/job with construction equipment – Earth Moving (dozers, excavators, graders, wheel loaders, forklifts), Gen Sets, Compressors, Dump Trucks, Soil Compactors, Mobile Cranes … CAT, VOLVO, DOOSAN, KOMATSU, JCB, BOBCAT, LIEBHERR..
• You are capable of independently leading the day-to-day job traffic – repairs, breakdowns, service;
• You are fluent in English.
• You are self-motivated, organized, and able to prioritize workload.
• You are prepared to work under pressure;
• You have a thorough knowledge of equipment diagnostic software (CAT SIS/ ET/ CBT, VOLVO PROSIS); high level of technical expertise and understanding of hydraulic/ electrical diagrams, troubleshooting guides..
