WHAT WILL YOU BE DOING?
• You work at one of our job sites or in main yard workshop;
• You manage and lead a team of mechanics and electricians, allocating and distributing work throughout the team;
• You coordinate and schedule the maintenance and repair of our trucks and buses; prioritize the workload;
• You keep up to date records on equipment including check lists, defect notes, job service reports and other related documentation;
• You handle administration, order (spare) parts, handle stock for emergency and service parts;
• You ensure health and safety measures are adhered to and tasks are carried out safely.
• You assist and guide the team in case the problem is complex.
• You will be given the authority to initiate new incentives or improvements to streamline work.
WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?
• You have a degree in Mechanical or Electrical or Automotive Engineering or equivalent by experience;
• You have solid experience in a similar environment/job with trucks – VOLVO 400 6x4, MB ACTROCS 3340 6x4, IVECO ASTRA HD8, GROVE/ LIEBHERR Mobile Cranes..
• You are capable of independently leading the day-to-day job traffic – repairs, breakdowns, service;
• You are fluent in English.
• You are self-motivated, organized, and able to prioritize workload.
• You are prepared to work under pressure, overtime and “challenges”;
• You have a thorough knowledge of equipment diagnostic software – MB XENTRY/ EPC/ WIS; VOLVO PTT/ IMPACT;
• High level of understanding/ reading hydraulic and electrical diagrams, troubleshooting guides;
