Position Overview
The Site Engineer (Electrical) will oversee all electrical activities related to 132kV Overhead Transmission Line (OHTL) projects in Saudi Arabia. This includes supervising installation, testing, and commissioning of transmission lines and associated electrical systems. Candidates must have prior experience with 132kV OHTL projects in Saudi Arabia, a valid transferable Iqama, and must be available for immediate joining.
Key Responsibilities
Project Execution:
Supervise installation of 132kV overhead lines, including tower erection and stringing of conductors.
Oversee testing and commissioning activities to ensure operational readiness.
Technical Oversight:
Review and interpret electrical designs and specifications in alignment with SEC standards.
Address technical challenges and provide solutions during construction phases.
Compliance and Quality Assurance:
Ensure compliance with SEC standards, local regulations, and project specifications.
Conduct inspections and verify testing results for electrical installations.
Coordination and Reporting:
Work closely with civil teams to ensure seamless integration of electrical and structural works.
Prepare detailed progress and inspection reports for the project manager.
Safety and Risk Management:
Enforce safety protocols during installation and testing.
Conduct risk assessments to prevent potential hazards.
Qualifications and Experience
Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering.
Experience:
Minimum 5 years of experience in electrical engineering for 132kV OHTL projects in Saudi Arabia.
Expertise in testing and commissioning of high-voltage systems.
Skills:
Proficiency in electrical design tools and testing equipment.
Strong analytical and communication skills.
Other Requirements:
Valid and transferable Iqama.
Immediate availability.
Candidates with relevant experience will be preferred.
