Position Overview
The Site Engineer (Civil) will oversee all civil construction activities related to 132kV Overhead Transmission Line (OHTL) projects in Saudi Arabia. This includes site preparation, foundation works, access roads, and structural installations, ensuring compliance with local standards, project specifications, and safety protocols. Candidates must have prior experience with 132kV OHTL projects in Saudi Arabia and a valid transferable Iqama, and must be available for immediate joining.
Key Responsibilities
Site Supervision and Execution:
Oversee all civil activities, including excavation, foundation construction, and access roadworks.
Ensure works are executed as per design specifications, SEC standards, and project timelines.
Manage subcontractors and resolve on-site issues promptly.
Compliance and Quality Control:
Conduct inspections to ensure compliance with project specifications and Saudi regulations.
Oversee material testing, including soil compaction and concrete quality checks.
Coordination and Reporting:
Collaborate with electrical teams to ensure seamless integration of civil and electrical works.
Prepare daily and weekly progress reports for submission to the project manager.
Safety Management:
Enforce safety protocols and conduct regular risk assessments.
Ensure safe operations during heavy equipment use and foundation construction.
Qualifications and Experience
Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering.
Experience:
Minimum 5 years of experience in civil engineering for 132kV OHTL projects in Saudi Arabia.
Knowledge of SEC standards and procedures for OHTL.
Skills:
Proficiency in AutoCAD and construction management tools.
Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
Other Requirements:
Valid and transferable Iqama.
Immediate availability.
Candidates with relevant experience will be preferred.
