We are seeking a skilled Operations and Maintenance (O&M) Engineer to join our team for a water treatment plant in Saudi Arabia. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operation and maintenance activities, ensuring optimal plant performance, compliance with environmental standards, and uninterrupted service delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
-Operate and maintain water treatment plant systems, including pumps, filtration systems, chemical dosing equipment, and SCADA controls.
-Monitor plant performance metrics and ensure compliance with regulatory and quality standards.
-Perform routine inspections, troubleshooting, and corrective maintenance of equipment and systems.
-Develop and implement preventive maintenance plans to minimize downtime and extend equipment life.
-Supervise plant operators and technicians, providing training and guidance as needed.
-Maintain detailed logs, reports, and records of plant operations and maintenance activities.
-Ensure adherence to safety protocols and environmental regulations.
Qualifications:
-Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or a related field.
-6+ years of experience in water treatment plant operations and maintenance.
-Proficiency in operating water treatment technologies such as reverse osmosis (RO), ultrafiltration (UF), or desalination systems.
-Familiarity with SCADA systems and other plant automation technologies.
-Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
-Excellent communication and leadership abilities.
-Knowledge of Saudi regulatory and environmental compliance standards is an advantage.
