Electrical Engineer

Experience Level: 7-9 Years

Location: Saudi Arabia

Employment Type: Full-Time

Key Responsibilities:

Design, develop, and implement electrical systems and components for commercial, residential, and industrial projects.

Prepare detailed electrical drawings, specifications, and schematics using AutoCAD, Revit, or other design tools.

Conduct load calculations, system analysis, and ensure compliance with electrical codes and standards.

Collaborate with project managers, architects, and other engineers to ensure project objectives are met.

Oversee the installation, testing, and commissioning of electrical systems to ensure quality and functionality.

Diagnose and resolve electrical issues during project execution.

Monitor and ensure compliance with safety standards, regulations, and energy efficiency protocols.

Prepare technical reports, documentation, and progress updates for stakeholders.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.

7-9 years of proven experience in electrical engineering and project management.

Proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD, Revit, and other electrical design tools.

Strong knowledge of electrical systems, power distribution, and lighting design.

Familiarity with local and international electrical codes and standards.

Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills.

Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.

Certification or license as a Professional Engineer (PE) or equivalent is preferred.

Preferred Skills:

Electrical System Design: Proficiency in designing electrical systems, including power distribution, lighting, and control systems.

Power Systems Analysis: Expertise in load flow analysis, short circuit studies, and harmonic analysis.

PLC and Automation Systems: Experience with programmable logic controllers (PLCs), SCADA systems, and industrial automation.

High and Low Voltage Systems: In-depth knowledge of high-voltage substations, transformers, and low-voltage wiring systems.

Energy Auditing and Management: Skills in conducting energy audits and implementing energy-efficient solutions.

Circuit Design: Ability to design and test electrical circuits for various applications.

Testing and Commissioning: Experience with electrical system testing, commissioning, and troubleshooting.

HVAC Integration: Understanding of electrical system integration with HVAC and mechanical systems.

Renewable Energy Systems: Familiarity with solar panel installation, wind turbines, and battery storage systems.

Software Proficiency: Advanced skills in ETAP, MATLAB, Dialux, SKM PowerTools, and other electrical design and simulation software.
