Civil Project Engineer – Industrial Construction

Job Summary

The Civil Engineer will play a critical role in the design, planning, and execution of industrial construction projects. This position involves ensuring project specifications are met, overseeing on-site activities, and maintaining compliance with safety and regulatory standards. The ideal candidate will bring strong technical expertise and hands-on experience in industrial construction, particularly in integrating Civil and MEP systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and Planning:

o Develop detailed engineering designs, layouts, and construction plans for industrial facilities.

o Conduct feasibility studies, risk assessments, and cost estimations.

o Ensure compliance with local building codes, safety regulations, and project requirements.

• Construction Supervision and Coordination:

o Oversee on-site construction activities to ensure adherence to technical designs and schedules.

o Collaborate with contractors, MEP teams, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless project execution.

o Monitor project progress and implement corrective actions when necessary.

• Technical Support and Problem-Solving:

o Provide innovative solutions to construction challenges in industrial projects.

o Evaluate materials and construction methods to optimize quality and cost-efficiency.

o Ensure integration of civil and MEP systems within project designs.

• Quality and Compliance Management:

o Conduct quality checks and inspections to maintain project standards.

o Ensure compliance with safety, health, and environmental regulations.

• Reporting and Documentation:

o Prepare and maintain progress reports, project schedules, and work trackers.

o Assist in preparing technical documents, including bid proposals and environmental impact assessments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or a relevant field.

Experience

• Minimum 8–10 years of experience in civil engineering, with significant exposure to industrial construction projects.

• Proven expertise in coordinating Civil and MEP construction activities.

• Strong familiarity with construction materials, methods, and technical standards.

Key Skills

• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and other structural analysis tools.

• Excellent problem-solving, communication, and leadership skills.

• Strong understanding of Saudi construction regulations and standards.

• Ability to work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams.
