We are looking for a talented and proactive Project Engineer – Mechanical to join our growing team and oversee the execution of mechanical engineering projects from start to finish.

Job Overview:

The Project Engineer – Mechanical will be responsible for the planning, design, execution, and delivery of mechanical engineering projects. This role involves managing project timelines, coordinating with teams, ensuring compliance with industry standards, and handling all mechanical-related aspects of the projects. The successful candidate will have strong technical skills, leadership ability, and a commitment to project success.

Key Responsibilities:

Project Management: Oversee the execution of mechanical projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within scope, and within budget.

Design & Engineering Support: Review and approve mechanical designs, specifications, and drawings. Provide technical support to the design and drafting teams.

Coordination & Communication: Liaise with clients, contractors, and internal teams to ensure smooth project progression and clear communication of project goals and requirements.

Resource Management: Manage resources, including labor, materials, and equipment, to ensure efficient project execution.

Compliance & Safety: Ensure all mechanical work complies with industry standards, codes, and safety regulations.

Problem Solving: Address and resolve any technical or project-related issues that arise during the execution phase.

Quality Assurance: Ensure the quality of mechanical work by performing regular inspections and testing.

Reporting: Provide regular project updates, reports, and documentation to senior management and stakeholders.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.

Proven experience (3+ years) as a Project Engineer or in a similar role within the mechanical engineering or construction industry.

Strong understanding of mechanical systems, HVAC, piping, and other related systems.

Proficiency in engineering software (e.g., AutoCAD, SolidWorks, MS Project) and MS Office Suite.

Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail.

Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills.

Strong problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to challenges.

Familiarity with project management methodologies and industry regulations.

Professional certifications (e.g., PMP, PE) are a plus.
