Job Overview:

As a Project Engineer – Electrical, you will play a pivotal role in managing electrical engineering projects, ensuring that all projects are executed to the highest standards of safety, quality, and efficiency. You will be responsible for planning, designing, coordinating, and monitoring electrical systems installation and maintenance for a variety of projects. The ideal candidate will have strong technical expertise, excellent project management skills, and a passion for delivering high-quality results.

Key Responsibilities:

Project Management: Lead and manage electrical projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and in compliance with all safety and quality standards.

Design and Engineering Support: Oversee the design, development, and installation of electrical systems and ensure compliance with relevant regulations and industry best practices.

Coordination: Work closely with clients, contractors, and internal teams to ensure that all electrical project requirements are clearly understood and met.

Technical Leadership: Provide technical guidance and support to the project team, ensuring that electrical work is performed to the highest standards.

Resource Management: Ensure optimal use of resources, including materials, labor, and equipment, throughout the project lifecycle.

Troubleshooting and Problem Solving: Address any electrical system issues that arise during the design or implementation phases, finding and implementing effective solutions.

Quality Assurance: Conduct regular inspections and testing to ensure compliance with design specifications and safety standards.

Documentation & Reporting: Maintain accurate project documentation, including progress reports, designs, cost tracking, and any changes to project scope.

Safety and Compliance: Ensure all electrical work complies with relevant local and international codes, standards, and safety regulations.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.

Proven experience (3+ years) as a Project Engineer or in a similar role within the electrical engineering or construction industry.

Strong understanding of electrical systems, including power distribution, lighting, control systems, and other electrical infrastructure.

Proficiency in electrical design and project management software (e.g., AutoCAD, ETAP, MS Project).

Familiarity with industry codes, regulations, and standards (e.g., NEC, IEC).

Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.

Strong communication, leadership, and organizational abilities.

Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.

Professional certifications (e.g., PMP, PE) are a plus.
