qualifications:
bachelor’s degree or diploma in mechanical engineering.
minimum of 8 years of experience in mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (mep) systems in building projects.
strong knowledge of building codes, local regulations, and industry standards.
proven experience in hvac, plumbing, fire protection, and other mechanical systems.
excellent problem-solving, analytical, and project management skills.
strong communication and leadership skills.
proficiency in autocad, revit, and other relevant engineering software.
ability to work well under pressure and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
key responsibilities:
design, coordinate, and oversee mechanical systems such as hvac, plumbing, fire protection, and others.
ensure that all mep systems are installed, tested, and maintained according to industry standards and local regulations.
review project specifications, drawings, and plans to ensure technical feasibility and accuracy.
work closely with other engineering teams (electrical, civil) to ensure effective coordination of mep systems.
supervise and guide a team of engineers and contractors during the installation and commissioning phases.
conduct site inspections and resolve issues related to mechanical systems during construction.
prepare technical documentation, reports, and presentations.
ensure all safety standards are adhered to and address any safety concerns related to mep systems.
coordinate with clients, contractors, and suppliers to ensure timely delivery of project milestones.
