Site Supervisor
Responsibilities:
1. Supervision of Site Operations: Oversee daily operations on construction sites, ensuring that work progresses according to the project schedule.
2. Staff Management: Supervise construction workers and subcontractors, providing guidance and direction to ensure quality work.
3. Health & Safety Compliance: Enforce strict adherence to safety protocols and regulations to maintain a safe working environment for all site personnel.
4. Quality Control: Ensure that the work is completed to the required standards and specifications by conducting regular quality inspections.
5. Coordination of Resources: Manage materials, tools, and equipment to ensure they are available and in good working condition.
6. Problem-Solving: Address and resolve any issues or obstacles that arise on site to prevent delays and maintain progress.
7. Communication: Serve as a point of contact between project managers, clients, subcontractors, and workers. Regularly update the project manager on site progress and any potential issues.
8. Documentation: Maintain accurate site records, including daily logs, safety reports, and material usage reports.
9. Budget Management: Monitor site expenses and ensure work stays within budget. Report any cost overruns or financial discrepancies to project managers.
10. Inspection & Reporting: Conduct regular inspections of work, ensuring compliance with project plans and safety standards, and providing feedback to the team.
Requirements:
Proven experience as a Site Supervisor or in a similar role in the construction industry.
Strong understanding of construction processes, safety standards, and regulations.
Excellent leadership and communication skills.
Ability to interpret blueprints, drawings, and project specifications.
Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
Ability to manage multiple tasks and work under pressure.
Relevant certifications (e.g., OSHA, first aid) may be required.
