We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Mechanical Design Engineer with a minimum of 5 years of experience to lead and execute mechanical design tasks. The role involves developing and optimizing designs, ensuring compliance with industry standards, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to bring projects from concept to completion.
Key Responsibilities:
Design and develop mechanical components, systems, and equipment using advanced CAD software such as SolidWorks, AutoCAD, or CATIA.
Conduct engineering analyses, including stress analysis, thermal analysis, and fluid dynamics, to ensure design efficiency and reliability.
Prepare detailed technical drawings, blueprints, and documentation for manufacturing.
Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to align design objectives with project goals.
Conduct feasibility studies and cost analyses for new designs.
Ensure designs comply with relevant codes, standards, and regulations.
Troubleshoot design challenges and provide innovative solutions.
Participate in prototype development, testing, and validation processes.
Stay updated with advancements in mechanical design technologies and best practices.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in mechanical design engineering.
Proficiency in CAD software (SolidWorks, AutoCAD, CATIA, or equivalent).
Strong understanding of mechanical systems, materials, and manufacturing processes.
Knowledge of engineering standards and codes.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Strong communication and collaboration abilities.
Project management experience is a plus.
Professional certification (e.g., P.E. or equivalent) is advantageous.
