qualification:
• bachelor’s degree/diploma in mechanical engineering or a related field.
• minimum 6+ years gulf experience
• proven experience as an electrical qa/qc engineer or in a similar role within the electrical industry.
• proven experience in mechanical inspection, testing, and quality control.
• strong knowledge of mechanical codes and standards (e.g., asme, iso, astm).
• familiarity with mechanical testing equipment and techniques.
• ability to interpret engineering drawings and technical specifications.
• strong attention to detail with excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
• proficiency in quality management software and tools.
key responsibilities:
• develop and implement qa/qc procedures for mechanical systems to ensure compliance with specifications, industry standards, and local regulations.
• conduct inspections, testing, and audits of mechanical installations, components, and materials to verify quality and safety standards are met.
• review mechanical designs, drawings, and specifications to ensure compliance with applicable codes and standards (e.g., asme, iso).
• identify and resolve any non-conformities or quality issues during the project.
• maintain detailed records of inspections, tests, and quality control reports.
• provide technical support and quality oversight to project teams during the execution of mechanical work.
• monitor materials and equipment used in mechanical systems to ensure compliance with quality standards.
• conduct site inspections to ensure that mechanical work is being carried out according to design, specification, and safety regulations.
• perform root cause analysis and corrective actions for any identified quality problems.
• collaborate with engineers and contractors to foster a culture of continuous improvement in quality management practices.
