Job DescriptionJob Title: Chief Accountant Location: Jubail, Saudi Arabia Department: Finance Reports To: Finance Director/Controller Job Summary: JNK Gulf is looking for an experienced Chief Accountant to oversee and manage our accounting department. The successful candidate will ensure the accuracy and efficiency of all financial transactions, prepare financial statements, manage accounts, and implement policies that support the company’s financial operations. Key Responsibilities: Oversee the preparation of accurate financial statements in compliance with company policies, accounting standards (GAAP), and regulations. Supervise the accounting team, ensuring timely and accurate processing of transactions. Manage month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing processes. Coordinate with external auditors for year-end audits and ensure timely resolution of audit queries. Prepare and analyze budgets, forecasts, and financial reports for senior management. Monitor cash flow, accounts receivable, and accounts payable to ensure proper tracking of funds and to optimize working capital. Develop and implement internal controls to safeguard company assets. Ensure compliance with tax regulations and handle tax filings. Provide strategic financial analysis and recommendations to improve operational efficiency and profitability. Ensure continuous improvement of accounting processes and system upgrades. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (Master’s preferred). CPA, CMA, or equivalent certification is highly desirable. Strong knowledge of accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel proficiency a must). Excellent understanding of accounting principles, regulations, and financial reporting. Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
