## **Job Summary:**

We are looking for an experienced **Electrical Design Engineer with expertise in precast construction** to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing electrical systems integrated into precast concrete structures, ensuring compliance with construction standards, safety regulations, and project requirements. This role requires close coordination with structural, mechanical, and site teams to ensure seamless execution of electrical designs in precast construction projects.

## **Key Responsibilities:**

### **1. Electrical Design & Precast Integration**

? Develop electrical layouts, conduit routes, junction box placements, and fixture installations for **precast concrete structures**.

? Ensure the seamless integration of **electrical components within precast elements**, considering manufacturing and installation constraints.

? Design **power distribution systems, lighting layouts, grounding, and panel board placements** for buildings, tunnels, bridges, and other precast construction projects.

### **2. Code Compliance & Safety Standards**

? Ensure all electrical designs comply with **NEC, IEC, BS, or local electrical codes** and safety regulations.

? Conduct **load calculations, voltage drop analysis, and circuit designs** to optimize electrical efficiency.

? Prepare and review **technical documentation, specifications, and Bill of Quantities (BOQ)** for procurement and construction.

### **3. Coordination & Project Management**

? Work closely with **civil, structural, and MEP engineers** to coordinate electrical requirements in precast construction.

? Support the **precast manufacturing team** to ensure electrical embedment feasibility and accuracy.

? Conduct **site visits and inspections** to verify compliance with design specifications and resolve on-site issues.

? Assist in **project planning, scheduling, and budgeting** for electrical installations in precast structures.

### **4. Testing & Troubleshooting**

? Oversee the **testing and commissioning** of electrical systems in precast installations.

? Identify and resolve **design issues, technical discrepancies, and site-related challenges**.

? Provide **engineering support** during construction, addressing contractor and client concerns.

## **Qualifications & Requirements:**

???? **Education:** Bachelor's degree in **Electrical Engineering** or a related field.
