. Job description: Responsible for overseeing, coordinating, and managing electrical scope of work on construction sites. Candidate must have deep understanding of all electrical systems, material used on site, equipment, and installations and must be able read and understand design drawings, specifications, project timelines, safety standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Design and implement electrical systems and equipment for construction projects.
Review and analyze electrical design drawings, specifications, and project requirements.
Coordinate with project managers, architects, and other engineers to ensure electrical systems meet project specifications and are completed on time.
Install, test, and maintain electrical systems and equipment to ensure their proper functioning.
Ensure compliance with local electrical codes, safety standards, and regulations.
Troubleshoot and resolve electrical issues and failures on-site.
Conduct inspections and audits to ensure the quality and safety of electrical installations.
Provide technical guidance and support to the construction team, including electricians and contractors.
Monitor the performance of electrical systems and suggest improvements or modifications as needed.
Maintain detailed records of electrical systems, maintenance schedules, and testing reports.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
Proven experience as an Electrical Engineer in construction, engineering, or a similar role.
Strong knowledge of electrical systems, components, and industry standards.
Proficiency in using electrical design software and tools.
Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and troubleshooting skills.
Good communication and teamwork abilities.
Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines effectively.
Working Conditions:
Full-time position with possible overtime based on project deadlines.
Work primarily on-site with occasional office visits for meetings and project planning.
Occasional travel may be required within the region for site inspections or meetings.
