Mechanical Engineer
Location: Buraidah, Qassim, Saudi Arabia
. Experience at least 10-12 years
. Have degree in mechanical engineering or equivalent
. Job description: Responsible for overseeing, coordinating, and managing mechanical scope of work on construction sites. Candidate must have deep understanding of all mechanical systems, material used on site, equipment, and installations and must be able read and understand design drawings, specifications, project timelines, safety standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Design and implement mechanical systems and equipment for construction projects.
Analyze and review mechanical design drawings, specifications, and project requirements.
Coordinate with project managers, architects, and other engineers to ensure mechanical systems meet project specifications and are completed on schedule.
Supervise the installation, testing, and maintenance of mechanical systems and equipment.
Ensure compliance with local mechanical codes, safety standards, and environmental regulations.
Troubleshoot and resolve mechanical issues and failures on-site.
Monitor mechanical system performance and suggest improvements or modifications as needed.
Provide technical guidance and support to the construction team, including contractors and technicians.
Conduct inspections and audits to ensure the quality and safety of mechanical installations.
Maintain detailed records of mechanical systems, maintenance schedules, and testing reports.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
Proven experience as a Mechanical Engineer in construction or a similar role.
Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, HVAC, piping, and equipment.
Proficiency in using mechanical design software (AutoCAD, SolidWorks, etc.).
Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and troubleshooting skills.
Good communication and teamwork abilities.
Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines effectively.
Working Conditions:
Full-time position with possible overtime based on project deadlines.
Work primarily on-site with occasional office visits for meetings and project planning.
Occasional travel may be required within the region for site inspections or meetings.
