Job description

1. Perform receiving inspections of raw materials and maintain the record of inspection and MTC, test reports from vendors

2. Coordinate, routine tests, in-process inspections and final inspections of products per Tenas procedures, customer requirements and specifications.

3. Monitor, check and ensure the implementation of Quality Process and Procedures throughout the production activities.

4. Recording, follow-up, reinspection, monitoring and analysis of Supplier Quality Complaints , External Quality Failures (Customer complaints) and Internal Quality Failures (Production NCs)

5. Identify and report nonconformity in all stages of manufacturing, assist in developing corrective actions, prepare root cause analysis for the potential nonconformances, Quality Alerts, One Point Lessons & failure reports as and when required

6. Perform the planned QC activities as well as the assigned tasks to meet the operational and targets as per delivery schedules.

7. Ensure that all necessary inspections as identified in the approved Inspection and Test Plan (ITP) are attended by a suitable QA/QC inspector

8. Ensure the completeness of the In-process/final checklist at all stages of manufacturing and proper record are maintained and traceable.

9. Regular review of Inspection test plan, Quality Control plan & their results, process flow, and work instructions for all processes related to manufacturing activities.

10. Assist the Production team & inspectors to resolve any quality issues may raise during the production activities, identify training needs and escalate any complex operational issues to the Quality Manger.

11. Co-ordinate with production for the day to day activities & QC interaction for smooth operation.

12. Supervise and support QC Inspectors in their respective assignments

13. Monitor the use of measuring and testing equipment to ensure it is safe and well-maintained and discard any that doesn’t meet requirements and maintain records of calibration for inspection and testing equipment

14. Regular Internal cross plant audit (production section vise) checks for a variety of features, such as handling practices, work instructions, documentation, training, and process integrity along with the Quality Manger.

15. Initiate preparation of Quality Reports/ One point lessons for the overall improvement

16. Impart trainings based on QC observations to empower the team to maintain an efficient work environment in coordination of the Quality Manger.

17. Ensures fair distribution of tasks to maintain morale, motivation of subordinates.

18. Ensure compliance of relevant Quality procedures, Occupational safety & environmental management requirements in coordination with Tenas Safety officer within defined area of work activity to guarantee safety, legislative compliance, and delivery of high-quality products/services.

19. Update the Quality procedures/work instructions/forms pertaining to various sections as and when required in coordination with Quality Manger.

20. Assist the Quality Manger to perform internal quality audits per schedule and maintaining the implemented quality management system throughout the organization..

21. Ensure a safe and healthy work environment during all stages of production

22. Ensuring the 5S monitoring sheets are updated time to time all through the shop floor
