Job Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Mechanical Engineer to join our team for a Mechanical Tank Maintenance Project at a leading power plant in Saudi Arabia. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in mechanical tank maintenance, project management, and relevant certifications to ensure the successful execution of maintenance activities in compliance with industry standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Plan, supervise, and execute mechanical tank maintenance activities, ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards.
Oversee inspections, repairs, and maintenance work for tanks, pipelines, and related mechanical components.
Coordinate with cross-functional teams, contractors, and vendors to ensure smooth project execution.
Prepare and review technical reports, maintenance schedules, and engineering documentation.
Monitor project timelines, budgets, and resource allocation, ensuring adherence to project management best practices (PMI, PMP, or equivalent).
Ensure compliance with Saudi Arabian regulatory requirements and power plant safety protocols.
Troubleshoot and resolve mechanical issues, applying best engineering practices.
Qualifications & Requirements:
Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
5+ years of experience in mechanical tank maintenance projects within the power generation or energy sector.
Strong knowledge of project management principles with relevant certifications (PMP, PRINCE2, or equivalent).
Hands-on experience in mechanical maintenance, tank inspections, and repair methodologies.
Familiarity with international and Saudi standards for tank maintenance and power plant operations.
Proficient in using engineering software, AutoCAD, and project management tools.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Ability to work in a challenging power plant environment with a commitment to safety and efficiency.
Preferred Skills:
Experience in thermal power plants, combined-cycle power plants, or oil & gas facilities.
Knowledge of Saudi Aramco, SEC, or other local regulatory compliance requirements.
Understanding of corrosion protection, welding, and structural integrity assessment of tanks
