**Key Responsibilities:**
- Analyze and interpret **Bills of Quantities (BOQs)** to prepare detailed cost estimates for construction projects.
- Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and clients to clarify project specifications and scope.
- Source and evaluate material, labor, and equipment costs from suppliers and subcontractors.
- Prepare comprehensive and competitive quotations tailored to client requirements.
- Review project plans, contracts, and technical documents to identify potential risks or cost-saving opportunities.
- Maintain accurate records of estimates, quotes, and pricing data.
- Stay updated on market trends, material costs, and industry standards to ensure accuracy in estimates.
- Support bid submissions and negotiations with clients and stakeholders.

**Qualifications:**
- Bachelor’s degree in **Civil Engineering, Quantity Surveying, Construction Management**, or a related field.
- Proven experience (3+ years) as an **Estimator** in the construction industry, preferably with BOQ-based projects.
- Proficiency in estimation software (e.g., **CostX, PlanSwift, Bluebeam**) and MS Office (Excel, Word).
- Strong knowledge of construction materials, methods, and market pricing.
- Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail.
- Ability to work under tight deadlines and manage multiple projects.
- Strong communication and negotiation skills.
- Familiarity with local building codes, regulations, and contractual terms.
**Preferred Qualifications:**
- Certification in **CCE (Certified Cost Engineer)** or **RICS (Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors)**.
- Experience in preparing bids for government or large-scale private projects.
