To support our growing operations, we are seeking a skilled **Estimator** to join our team and contribute to our success by preparing accurate cost estimates and quotations based on Bills of Quantities (BOQs).

**Position Overview:**

As an **Estimator**, you will play a critical role in analyzing project requirements, interpreting BOQs, and generating competitive quotations to ensure project feasibility and profitability. Your expertise will directly impact our ability to secure contracts and deliver projects on time and within budget.

**Key Responsibilities:**

- Analyze and interpret **Bills of Quantities (BOQs)** to prepare detailed cost estimates for construction projects.

- Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and clients to clarify project specifications and scope.

- Source and evaluate material, labor, and equipment costs from suppliers and subcontractors.

- Prepare comprehensive and competitive quotations tailored to client requirements.

- Review project plans, contracts, and technical documents to identify potential risks or cost-saving opportunities.

- Maintain accurate records of estimates, quotes, and pricing data.

- Stay updated on market trends, material costs, and industry standards to ensure accuracy in estimates.

- Support bid submissions and negotiations with clients and stakeholders.

**Qualifications:**

- Bachelor’s degree in **Civil Engineering, Quantity Surveying, Construction Management**, or a related field.

- Proven experience (3+ years) as an **Estimator** in the construction industry, preferably with BOQ-based projects.

- Proficiency in estimation software (e.g., **CostX, PlanSwift, Bluebeam**) and MS Office (Excel, Word).

- Strong knowledge of construction materials, methods, and market pricing.

- Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail.

- Ability to work under tight deadlines and manage multiple projects.

- Strong communication and negotiation skills.

- Familiarity with local building codes, regulations, and contractual terms.

**Preferred Qualifications:**

- Certification in **CCE (Certified Cost Engineer)** or **RICS (Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors)**.

- Experience in preparing bids for government or large-scale private projects.
