We are a reputable construction company seeking an experienced Document Controller to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and maintaining accurate records and documents throughout the project lifecycle.
Job Summary:
We are looking for a highly organized and detail-oriented Document Controller to ensure the efficient management of project documents. The ideal candidate will have experience in a similar role within the construction industry.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and maintain accurate records and documents, including project drawings, specifications, and correspondence
- Develop and implement document control procedures to ensure compliance with company standards
- Coordinate with project teams to ensure timely and accurate document submission
- Maintain and update project documentation databases and systems
- Ensure document security, confidentiality, and compliance with regulatory requirements
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to resolve document-related issues
Requirements:
- 5+ years of experience in a document control role within the construction industry
- High school diploma or equivalent required; degree in a related field preferred
- Proficiency in document management software and systems
- Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
