Key Responsibilities:
- **Material Procurement:** Source, select, and acquire construction materials and equipment while maintaining quality and cost-effectiveness.
- **Vendor Management:** Establish and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and subcontractors, negotiating contracts and ensuring consistent performance.
- **Project Coordination:** Collaborate closely with project managers, engineers, and site supervisors to forecast material needs and support project timelines.
- **Cost Analysis:** Conduct cost comparisons and analyses to optimize expenditure and budget compliance.
- **Compliance:** Ensure adherence to company policies, local regulations, and project specifications during procurement processes.
- **Risk Management:** Identify and mitigate risks associated with supply chain disruptions and vendor dependencies.
- **Documentation:** Maintain accurate records of procurement transactions, contracts, and delivery schedules.
- **Reporting:** Provide regular updates on procurement activities, costs, and supplier performance to the management team.
Qualifications:
