Job Brief:

We seek a highly proactive and dedicated safety officer to join our team.

As a safety officer, you will establish and maintain a culture of safety excellence and safeguard compliance with all relevant regulations and standards. This comprises implementing effective safety programs and protocols and ensuring the availability and usability of safety equipment. You will promptly respond to employee safety concerns, provide guidance and support in resolving issues and improve overall safety performance.

Responsibilities:

Develop, implement and maintain strategies, plans and procedures to protect employees, property and facilities from workplace health and safety hazards.

Assess workplace hazards and risks and recommend appropriate measures to mitigate them.

Conduct regular inspections and audits to identify potential safety issues and ensure compliance with established safety protocols.

Investigate incidents and accidents, determine root causes and implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence.

Provide regular safety training sessions and organise impactful safety campaigns to promote awareness.

Maintain accurate records and documentation for safety inspections, incidents and training.

Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of safety strategies, plans and procedures, and adjust as needed.

Provide guidance and support to management and employees on safety-related matters.

Stay updated about emerging safety trends, regulations and best practices to ensure continuous improvement.

Conduct Periodic safety awareness sessions for the production and workshop team.

Prepare any special safety JSA as part of any site work documentation.

Prepare JSA for workshop activities for any jobs as and when required.

Attend safety program conducted by any third party as and when required.

Arrange/Mark safe assembly Area, safety Indication in workshop and company Premises.

Road Safety Training for the drivers and other safety tools.

Qualifications:

Proven work experience as safety officer with minimum 5 years preferably in middle east.

Bachelor’s degree in safety, occupational health and safety, industrial hygiene or a related field.

Must have excellent communication skills.

Proficiency in safety auditing, inspection and identifying hazards.

In-depth knowledge of safety regulations, standards and best practices

Planning Engineer- Job Description:

Job Brief:

We are looking for a skilled Planning Engineer to join our team.

Your primary role will be to create detailed schedules for maintenance tasks, allocate resources (like tools, parts and personnel) improve workforce productivity and quality by anticipating and eliminating potential delays.

Ideal candidate will be the bridge between the maintenance department and other departments and are in charge of keeping everyone on the same page.

Responsibilities:

Develop preventive maintenance schedules in order to utilize manpower resources effectively.

Order spare parts and supplies as needed in advance to keep the workshop process smoothly.

Prepare weekly plan and communicate with workshop foremen.

Monitor inventory levels of spare parts and tools used in the repair process.

Tracking costs associated with repairs or replacements.

Understanding repetitive problems related to machinery.

Coordinating with outside vendors for specialized tasks such as third party services on site if required by certain jobs.

Collaborate with technicians and engineers to determine optimal maintenance schedules to balance productivity and cost.

Estimate Service completion ETA in consultation with Electrical And Mechanical job Supervisors.

Qualifications:

Proven work experience as Planning Engineer with minimum 5 years.

Must have excellent communication skills so can effectively communicate with other members of the maintenance.

High school diploma or equivalent required.

Vocational or technical training in electrical or mechanical field is a plus.
