We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Project Control Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for monitoring and controlling project schedules, budgets, and progress to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery. The role requires strong analytical skills, a good understanding of project management principles, and proficiency in relevant software tools.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and maintain project schedules using tools such as Primavera P6, MS Project, or similar.
Monitor project progress and prepare regular status reports.
Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to collect and validate project data.
Analyze cost and schedule performance, identify variances, and propose corrective actions.
Prepare and update project baseline schedules and budgets.
Assist in the development of Work Breakdown Structures (WBS) and project coding.
Forecast project timelines, resource requirements, and budget needs.
Track procurement activities, contractor performance, and deliverables.
Support risk management by identifying potential issues and suggesting mitigation strategies.
Ensure compliance with company procedures and client requirements.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
3–7 years of experience in project controls, planning, or related roles.
Proficiency in project management tools (e.g., Primavera P6, MS Project, Excel).
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
Familiarity with Earned Value Management (EVM) is a plus.
Certification (e.g., PMP, PSP, PMI-SP) is an advantage.
