Job Responsibilities: 1. Fleet Operations Management: • Manage the overall operation of the company’s heavy truck fleet to ensure efficient transportation tasks. • Develop and implement fleet management strategies to maximize vehicle utilization and optimize route scheduling. • Supervise drivers’ work arrangements to ensure all transportation tasks are completed on schedule. 2. Vehicle Maintenance and Management: • Monitor the technical condition of fleet vehicles, arrange regular maintenance and repairs to minimize breakdowns. • Ensure vehicle insurance, registration, and regulatory compliance for legal operation. 3. Cost Control and Optimization: • Monitor fuel consumption, maintenance costs, and operational expenses, ensuring effective cost management. • Conduct training sessions on fuel-efficient and effective driving practices to improve operational efficiency. 4. Driver Management and Training: • Recruit, train, and manage fleet drivers, ensuring compliance with company policies and safety standards. • Conduct driver assessments, manage performance, and address operational issues. 5. Safety and Compliance: • Ensure fleet operations fully comply with Saudi transportation laws, road safety regulations, and internal policies. • Monitor GPS and onboard systems to enhance safety and prevent violations. 6. Emergency Handling: • Manage vehicle accidents, transport delays, and other emergencies, and establish contingency plans. • Maintain communication with traffic authorities and insurance companies for timely problem resolution. Job Requirements: • Experience: Minimum 5 years of heavy truck fleet management experience; experience in international logistics or express delivery industry preferred. • Skills: • Proficiency in Saudi and GCC transportation regulations, FMS (Fleet Management Systems), and GPS monitoring systems. • Strong skills in cost control, data analysis, route planning, and dispatch optimization. • Ability to manage and train a multinational team of drivers. • Languages: Fluent in English; Arabic proficiency is an advantage. • Education: Bachelor’s degree or higher, preferably in Logistics Management, Transportation Management, or related fields. • Certificates: Relevant industry management certifications are preferred.
