Position Title: Electrical Engineer (HCIS Projects)

Department: Engineering

Location: Dammam

Reports To: Engineering Manager / Project Manager

Job Summary:

We are seeking a qualified and experienced Electrical Engineer to support industrial projects with a focus on HCIS (High Commission for Industrial Security) compliance. Projects include security systems, substations, control buildings, renewable energy installations, and process plants. The successful candidate will be responsible for the electrical design and site implementation in accordance with HCIS specifications and industry standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Design Responsibilities:

• Develop electrical design concepts for industrial facilities.

• Perform electrical design analysis and calculations in accordance with HCIS standards.

• Integrate architectural considerations such as finishes, insulation, coatings, and fire protection suitable for industrial settings.

• Coordinate with other disciplines (MEP, security, instrumentation) to ensure cohesive design execution.

Estimation Responsibilities:

• Analyze tender documents, drawings, and specifications for accurate scope definition.

• Develop Bills of Quantities (BOQs) and pricing sheets aligned with market rates.

• Prepare Material Take-Offs (MTOs) in compliance with HCIS requirements.

• Recommend value engineering and cost-saving strategies.

Technical & Documentation:

• Prepare technical design reports, material submittals, method statements, and clarifications.

• Ensure designs comply with relevant standards (e.g., HCIS, Aramco, SABIC, and international codes).

• Participate in design reviews, risk assessments, and quality control processes.

Coordination & Support:

• Collaborate with clients, consultants, procurement, planning, and construction teams.

• Assist in scheduling and resource planning related to electrical work scopes.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering.

• 3–5 years of experience in electrical design for industrial projects.

• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, or equivalent design software.

• Strong knowledge of industrial project standards (e.g., HCIS, Aramco, SABIC).

• Excellent analytical, communication, and coordination skills.

Preferred Certifications:

• HCIS Design Awareness (mandatory).

• PMP or PRINCE2 certification (preferred).

• ASIS PSP (preferred)

• Saudi Council of Engineers registered (mandatory)
